A Devilish Task

This will not trouble you for a moment.

Worried about your colour vision?
A laugh from Dr.Gilbert’s book, in which he discusses frustrated curiosity about the future: in the film Bedazzled, which I haven’t seen, the devil goes around ripping the last few pages out of detective novels. Now, that’s evil! What if he just slipped pieces of paper with the solution into the books? Or left an inscription?
But, what a come down for old Nick. Of course, there are those who would have you believe that that’s all part of his fiendish plan to make you believe he doesn’t exist. I have yet to read the Screwtape Letters which addressed that “delusion”. Meanwhile, an army of satanic wannabes is blogging, spamming and corrupting souls left and right on the Internet.
I wonder if Richard Dawkins who, according to this account doesn’t exist, considered writing The Devil Delusion instead of The God Delusion? It’s to be followed, inevitably, by The Dawkins Delusion. Bags I the titles The Dan Brown Delusion and Delusions for Dummies.
Then we have the people who give away books. Joining them is on my TO DO list.
