Returned from a weekend in Devon (where we saw the first swallow of the year and deposited some boxes in a loft) to find this pearl in my inbox, from an old friend. Beautiful. I loved it.
Would a London audience be any better? — this YouTube video by a London busker explains why the quality of music on the London underground has gone up lately. Busking has been legalized and regulated. Here’s a saxophonist at Euston Station, and an electric guitarist playing Pink Floyd at Picadilly Circus. Not long now I suppose before I see a sign reading “As seen on YouTube”.
